Overview

The academic year at the University of Maine at Fort Kent consists of

  • two regular semesters (fall and spring),
  • a 12-week summer term containing several shorter sessions,
  • a 3-week Winter Term (between the fall and spring semesters), and
  • 7-week sessions offered within the spring and fall terms.

Retro Withdrawal:

To start the Retro Withdrawal or Drop process, is a student who withdrew from a class or classes past the drop date, must begin the appeal process by submitting in writing an email to Dean Erin Soucy esoucy@maine.edu;  barbie.eldridge@maine.edu;  lisa.parent@maine.edu for review and approval. For example, Medical Reasons, the death of a family member, etc.
