Acadian Archives/Archives acadiennes at UMFK: Genealogy

A helpful guide to learning about and navigating the archives.

The Acadian Archives has a large selection of genealogical books for visitors to use when researching their family history. These range from family genealogies to parish/town vital records for many towns on both the American and Canadian sides of the St. John River.

We also offer visitors free access to ancestry library edition and my heritage when visiting campus in person. As soon as you are on campus, you can connect to the internet and have access on your computer or one of ours.

Staff is present and happy to help visitors with research requests and any questions they may have.
