This guide will assist students in the research for the completion of the course assignment - a pseudo grant application.

Assignment

The documents below provide the guidelines and criteria necessary in submitting a successful statement of intent for a grant, and an example of  a statement of intent for a grant proposal.  The subsequent pages of this guide will provide you with information on what peer review is and a list of databases where you can find relevant peer reviewed articles on your topic selection, as well as demographic and statistical information to help in the development of your statement of intent.

This guide is intended to assist you in the reasearch necessary to create a grant proposal centered on the anatomical and physiological bases of behavior.  Topics include learning, sensation, motivation, emotion, and psychopathology as revealed by a physiological perspective.
