All Artifacts need to be in your UNIVERSITY Google Drive to insert into your portfolio
- Google Drive is a place to STORE your files. Think of it as a file cabinet.
- Moving Microsoft word documents or Excel spreadsheets to Drive does not mean you have to open them there or transfer their contents into Google applications.
- Even if you open them, you will only get a preview with an option to open in a comparable format (such as Google Docs).
- Sometimes artifacts made outside of Google applications will not preview correctly. You will have to download the artifact and open it in the correct application to make sure it is correct.
- If you try to open, for example, a Microsoft Word document as a Google Docs document, the formatting may be different.
